Call for Music, visual arts and arts of movements


CMMR 2019 welcomes submissions of music /sound art pieces that will be presented in concerts included in the conference program. Works should be related to the conference theme : Perception, Representations, Image, Sound, Music.


Topics

Original contributions are encouraged in, but not limited to the following topics :
  • bullet blue  Jean-Claude Risset and Beyond. Musical creations freely extending the themes, techniques and/or music of computer music pioneer and composer Jean-Claude Risset are welcome. The pieces should last for 5 to 15 minutes. Instruments: Soloist(s), small ensemble and / or electronic devices.
  • bullet blue  Creative devices for augmented reality, virtual reality or mixed reality, for dance performances
  • bullet blue  Generative devices for improvisation (sound and music). The submissions should engage improvisation situations, generated by various digital media: interactive, generative installations and devices, digital photographs, screenings, videos that refer to issues related to determination, indetermination, chronology etc.

The pieces should not exceed 20 minutes. All projects (3 pages max.) must be submitted with a technical sheet including material needs.
