Demo papers (optional)

Optional demonstration (demo) papers can be submitted as supplementary material. Demo papers must be between 3-5 pages long in the single column in the Springer LNCS single column format.

Demo papers should clearly pinpoint the novelty and characteristics of the system, even for readers who are not able to attend the demonstration at the conference. The papers should include:

  • bullet blue  A discussion of the broader context and research questions
  • bullet blue  A description of the audience that the work targets

Demo papers will be peer-reviewed and considered for inclusion in the conference proceedings. Demos can be selected for presentation at the conference even if the associated Demo Paper is not accepted for publication.

Authors of demonstrations are also encouraged to submit a Regular Paper presenting and discussing the original research enabling the demo.

Demo logistics

CMMR will provide basic equipment (e.g. tables, chairs, power sockets, WiFi connection). Additional requests will be discussed on a case-by-case basis, and will be subject to the equipment and space availability. Demo presenters are expected to provide their own specific material (e.g. loudspeakers, screens, projectors, soundcards). Demo set-ups may need to be adapted to meet the restrictions imposed by the space and the program.
