Demo requirements with the following information must be submitted in the PDF format:
Demo title and author information
Abstract summarising the demo (150-200 words)
Technical set-up
Space requirements
Link to audio/video demonstrations (optional)
Any other information that will help the organisation of the Demo sessionOptional demonstration (demo) papers can be submitted as supplementary material. Demo papers must be between 3-5 pages long in the single column in the Springer LNCS single column format.
Demo papers should clearly pinpoint the novelty and characteristics of the system, even for readers who are not able to attend the demonstration at the conference. The papers should include:
A description of the system and the problem it addresses
A discussion of the broader context and research questions
A description of the audience that the work targetsDemo papers will be peer-reviewed and considered for inclusion in the conference proceedings. Demos can be selected for presentation at the conference even if the associated Demo Paper is not accepted for publication.
Authors of demonstrations are also encouraged to submit a Regular Paper presenting and discussing the original research enabling the demo.
CMMR will provide basic equipment (e.g. tables, chairs, power sockets, WiFi connection). Additional requests will be discussed on a case-by-case basis, and will be subject to the equipment and space availability. Demo presenters are expected to provide their own specific material (e.g. loudspeakers, screens, projectors, soundcards). Demo set-ups may need to be adapted to meet the restrictions imposed by the space and the program.
